Lately I have been disorganized. United is making gains and I am so proud of everyone who is contributing. The other night, a few members of the SdU celebrated birthdays and celebrations! Happy birthday Omar Chavez! Omar is a writing contributor of articles of The Good Dr. (politics) here at Sundown United. There were drinks, laughing, and jokes of childish mistakes and rad+epic friendships. Our nostalgic conversation soon turns to questions of deciphering and pondering…What is Sundown United?

Is it a blog?

Is it a t-shirt?

Why do they talk about all these things?

What is up with the slogan and the logo?

Who is Ja’el Sundown, is that person real?

These questions have been gaining momentum in the Sundown UNA blogosphere.

This is who we are. At its core, The SUNDOWN UNITED is a multi-faceted project that houses an apparel and accessories brand, and online-magazine(weblogs/articles).  All ends of and begins with the Sundown United our trademark, lifestyle, attitude, and personal perspective on Americana art/lifestyle subculture. Its two words we don’t use often anymore, American Exceptionalism. If you don’t know what that is you better get up to get down!…meaning just hit the link to find out.

The Slogan – “We Do Good, Down To The T!”

The Sun-Fire Lion symbol means so much to me personally that I could have in depth social undertone, spiritual overtone and a personal-prideful knuckle down school fist fight conversation for hours about it.

So here are the cliff notes. The lion is the PRIDE we stand for at Sundown United and our ideals to the brand. The Lion’s Mane a blazed in fire stands for the PASSION it brings forth.

If you’re not down for that, by all means for I have asked many, JOIN US.

Join us, under Sundown United and make it better. That is American Expectionalism at its best. That is Sundown United.

And who is Ja’el Sundown? I am the Leader, the Creator, and Dreamer of this grand and exceptional experiment.
