Dan Zvereff (za-ver-if) Northern European i think. He’s told me a couple times and i can’t recall right now where his name is actually from. But anyway, he’s a world traveling-artisan/skateboard viking. (meaning; he rapes any other skaters out there with a hint of talent on a board) That doesn’t really make sense i know but basically on a ratio from 1 to 10.

Dan’s feet spend more time on his skateboard then they actually do on the ground walking. (9/10) But when he’s not skating around the world, he’s doing 1 of 2 of his other hobbies.

His illustration work is amazing. I’d venture to say his doodles are naive almost, combine that with his provocative little copy that he adds and it just makes for a really enticing doodle-thing. His journals are my favorite. Check them out here when you get the chance because it’ll blow your mind into space rainbows.

The man can also shoot…..a camera. Photography and film making are another one of his skill sets attached to his utility belt. If you combined Bruce Blitz, Terry Richardson and Batman (his aesthetic not his actual person) you’d have a partial characteristic of what makes up the Zvereff persona. Not to trying to blow him up but yeah, he’s good at what he does. Check it out.

he’s born in SF raised in portland and lives in hoboken, NJ scouring the nearby streets of ny for places to skate or flick. Rad!
