By The United

The SdU staff is back in the building! New articles by Chace, Kyle, and Jordan to start us back up in our online magazine (weblogs/articles) division of United. We’ve been out gathering new ideas to approach our side of what american expectationalism is, with new personal stories and creative work. It’s an opportunity to showcase everything we believe that a start up company needs to be, to effectively grow in the new age of social media, by building the fan base with the ideas we’ve come to establish in this small tee shirt business.

From selling tees in LA, Denver, and Orlando. People are wearing the sun-yellow Sundown Lion on the chest from coast to coast. It’s been hard work and fun at the same time. I must admit it’s good to be back and just post The New News on Sundown United again.

First up, we have a new staff writer, introducing Annie Lee. I can’t wait for you guys to check out her piece next week, i’ll keep the article series a surprise till then and let Annie introduce it.

Annie Lee! - New SDU writer/contributor

Second, we decided to challenge ourselves with a new headline theme based series as a group. A new concept, which allows us here at United to take the steps needed to get to the next level and gravitate us closer as a stronger and cohesive team in writing and exploring what makes a sundown life.

Third, we slimmed down. there is less of us at the office. This is a good thing, it will allow us to focus on more creative concepts and genres. So, at this time no more articles on politics, travel, health, & literature for the up and coming articles. We will have those themes in the majority of what we write as we continue to write reviews and Op-Eds in those fields in the future.

So, let me reintroduction you to Jordan Hale – Hale, Down To the Reel (Film), Chace Saumell – Live Fierce. A Constant Chace! (Xtreme Fit & Motivation), Kyle Confehr – Graphical-Inter-Web-Net (art/style/graphics), Jenny Brower – The Life and Times of Jenny (Social/Photos), Logan Hernandez –  Dead Cat Bounce (Music…good Music), Sharleen Daubé, – It’s A Small World After Wardrobe (Fashion & Style)

vacation & holidays....what we like to call brain storming ideas

The staff in the United division decided on a theme on Kyle Confehr idea of a “Greater than > Less than” from his brilliant illustration he came up with a few months ago. It focus in on life, and how it can be really confusing, especially in regards to what truly matters or what should be taken seriously in a world that tries everyday to dictate what you should care about and not allow you to think for yourself. We see a shift in this great country were people today are doing their best to make it and find a identity that seems to be getting lost in the flood of media and politics.

This theme holds a lot of truth for me, for I myself have had to take a close look on what truly am i going to focus on in my relationships with others and is it greater than my time with my small business. for i want to make sure i have great balance of both but sometimes it does not turn out the way you want. But it has allowed me to see what i truly care about within the fine details of what i want to express to those i care about and my vision for Sundown United.

Greater Than > Less Than is the perfect starting point for the New News at Sundown United. Enjoy the coming articles and thank you to the staff for their amazing work, I am really proud at what we accomplished this month.
