Notables: Lanterns Lit by Son Lux: Based out of New York City, Ryan lott, also known as Son Lux, has always shown a flair for experimentation, from the classical-meets-glitch of “At War with Walls and Mazes” to the operatic darkness of “We Are Rising”, which was finished in only 28 days.
Miasma Sky by Baths: Bouncy electro-pop track from Will Wiesenfeld, aka Baths, that flirts with the idea of death over a wash of synthesizers and clicks.
Notables: Save My Soul by Daye Jack: Released earlier this month for his up and coming full length album called Soul Glitch. Daye Jack’s lyrics provokes a lesson that comes with the hustle of chasing ones worth. with a soulful marvin gaye style hook and a simple clap and drum kick. he explains, “It’s about sacrifices you make in order to fully commit to something, asking if it’s worth it.” – Daye Jack
Devil’s Whisper by Raury: All i can say is, Raury Alexander Tulli, has done it again. The 19 year old singer-songwriter lyricist from Atlanta, Georgia takes his eclectic mix of hip hop and folk and converges it like a White Stripes album collided into a Rakim and Eric B underground freestyle rap battle. nuff said.
