Notables: The Buddy by Reinhard Voigt: One of the pioneers of the Minimal Techno sub-genre, Reinhard Voigt joins buddy (hah) Michael Mayer for this soft banger, channeling their best impression of Alter Ego while maintaining their own minimalist identity. This is why I love Europe.

Foule Sentimentale by Alain Souchon: Winner of the 1994 Song of the Year award at the Victoires de la Musique, Alain Souchon reached international acclaim with this gem of his album C’est déjà ça.

Notables:  Thunderhearts by Cold War Kids: Los Angeles four-piece Cold War Kids elevate their passionate and take on indie rock with their emotionally-raw pop adventure in their new EP Five Quick Cuts.

New Americana by Halsey: Halsey first released her song “New Americana” via SoundCloud last year, but you’ll be hard-pressed to find the original anywhere online. She’s since slightly repurposed the track for her upcoming debut album Badlands, and dropped the official version today.
